Habitat for Humanity offers a variety of great ways for individuals to volunteer. Whether you hammer the nails, saw the wood, carry the supplies or fix the lunches, all jobs are highly valued and very important to the overall project. After all, it’s our volunteers who enable us to be successful! Through volunteer labor, Habitat keeps building costs very low and houses very affordable. As a volunteer, you will make a huge impact in the life of a local family and the community as a whole.

The best part is you don’t need any special skills to be a Habitat volunteerjust bring your desire to help and we’ll teach you the rest! We train our volunteers in building skills, committee tasks and basic Habitat functions. If you do have a professional skill that is connected with either building (including legal and real estate) or social services (counseling, etc.), you could be a tremendous help to Habitat, too. Whatever your interest or area of expertise, you could use it to help a family in need.

When you become a volunteer for Habitat, you are joining hands with thousands of people in the United States and all over the world who are supporting families and communities, one wonderful home at a time. Over 250,000 houses have been built by people just like you. Volunteer today! Call us at (609) 393-8009 x228 or email our Volunteer Coordinator.
