Volunteer Opportunities
East Trenton Center
Front Desk Receptionist:
This volunteer opportunity is for a person who is detail orientated, trustworthy and has good phone skills. This person must be available at least one day a week from morning until afternoon.
Learning Lab:
Tutors are needed in the East Trenton Center Learning Lab for after school programs. These programs are for kindergarten through 5th grade students. They run Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This opportunity is flexible for establishing a designated day to tutor however the volunteer must be available for the entire program.
Habitat for Humanityof Trenton
Administrative:
There are volunteer opportunities in the Trenton Area office. There are openings available for a file clerk and a grant locator and writer. Prior experience as a file clerk or grant locator is favorable though not necessary.
Construction: This volunteer opportunity is available for someone to work with the construction of the Habitat for Humanity house. All skill levels are welcome from beginner to professional.
ReStore:

Special Event Opportunities 
Coat Drive:
The Habitat for Humanity Coat Drive collects gently used coats, mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and boots for local Trenton families in need. All men, women and children's sizes and styles are welcome. This volunteer opportunity is available for someone to help collect and distribute the clothing.
Thanksgiving Basket Drive:
The Thanksgiving Basket Drive gathers turkey dinners for families in the Trenton area. This volunteer opportunity is available for someone to help collect, prepare and deliver these baskets to the Habitat for Humanity center and later distribute to the families in need.
