We are currently accepting donations of new and used building materials, furniture, and home furnishings.

Volunteers are needed to fill the following positions:

Sales

The ReStore Sales person will have retail-related responsibilities involving donated furniture, appliances, and other household items.  This individual will be responsible for selling items to customers, being knowledgeable about the items, answering questions the customers might have, greeting customers as they enter the store, and cleaning/maintaining an orderly workspace.  The Sales Person should be friendly with good people skills and be community-oriented with a passion to help Trenton residents.

Inventory

The ReStore Inventory Volunteer will primarily be responsible for upkeep/organization of the items that are acquired at the ReStore.  We expect this person to coordinate the flow of incoming materials from the back of the house to the store floor and to evaluate/check the incoming material.  Going along with this would be maintaining an orderly work space and ticketing materials.  They should have precise inventory control and should be familiar with items that are useful and available.

Warehouse

This volunteer position will primarily require an individual who is comfortable moving heavy objects (roughly 50-90 lbs.) for the Habitat for Humanity of Trenton ReStore.  The items will be household appliances furniture, etc.  The individual will be expected to unload donated goods from a truck into the ReStore and move around exiting materials to make room for newly donated materials.  The volunteer will also be expected to be a team player and adapt to the needs of a given day.
