Benefits of Sponsoring
• Organizations sponsoring a Habitat house will have the opportunity to go through the building process working with volunteers and homeowners from wall raisings to completion.
• A great dividend: the partnership's permanent effect on company morale. Numerous partners can attest, sponsoring a home and providing employee participation is outstanding because Habitat is a cause that employees and their families can identify with - one that produces immediate and tangible results.
• Recognition in the quarterly Habitat Newsletter which goes out to over 4000 local individuals, foundations and businesses.
• By the end of the project many pictures are documented and are great for additional publicity for the business partners who are able to use the photos in their annual reports and promotional material.
• Companies and organizations will be recognized on a site or event sign that indicates their partnership with Habitat as they work.
• All press releases and media correspondence on the sponsored family and home will include our sponsors.
• Sponsors are highlighted on the Habitat for Humanity of Trenton web site. Significant sponsors will have the logo and photos displayed with links to the business site.
• An annual recognition and awards event focuses on the many contributions and positive impacts made by organizations to Habitat's mission of eliminating poverty.
Become a Sponsor!
We are very fortunate to have received generous donations from many local companies, organizations, and faith communities. Habitat for Humanity of Trenton relies on private donations - we receive no government funding. Some companies take a lead role in a construction project; others get involved by sponsoring an event. Exciting partnership and sponsorship opportunities exist for every donor. The average construction cost per Habitat home is $100,000, therefore Trenton’s Habitat's sponsorship goal is to raise $100,000 per house. In addition to full house sponsorships, Habitat for Humanity of Trenton is also offering lower-level sponsorships to encourage participation by more organizations, corporations, foundations, individuals and faith communities.
